Jennie Garth is getting candid about saving her marriage to her third husband, Dave Abrams. The couple was separated for ten months before deciding to reconcile.

It has been six months since Garth and Abrams rekindled their romance and called off the divorce.

“We both had separate learning to do, and then coming back and sharing that growth was kind of the fiber that connected us back together. We definitely had to part ways completely. We needed that time to grow,” Garth shared in an exclusive interview with People magazine.

The BH90210 star and her man, only dated for a few months before they got married. Garth and Abrams met on a blind date in 2014 but were married months later. The blonde beauty admits the short timeline had an impact on their marriage.

“We rushed it too much, and we had individual things we needed to work out. Maybe it was a mistake to move so fast, and we’ve all had to learn and grow from that. When everything wasn’t shiny and pretty and fun like it had been initially when things got challenging, Dave didn’t know how to handle it as much,” the actress shared with the weekly magazine.

Abrams filed for divorce shortly after the separation blindsiding the Beverly Hills 90210 alum. Gath poked fun at the turn of events in a recent episode of BH90210. She did though take a piece of truth from the divorce filing into the Fox drama.

“I found out that he filed for divorce from TMZ. That was a big deal for me. So, we used it in the show, because why not use the things that hurt us most and then take the power out of them and make them funny,” Garth explained.

Even though Jennie Garth and her third husband, David Abrams have called off their divorce, the relationship is still a work in progress. They are fighting to ensure past mistakes do not repeat themselves.

“It’s very easy to go back to those old ways. So, it’s a process, and it’s continuously wanting to better the relationship. Dave keeps me young and fun. He makes me laugh. And that is the most important thing!” she expressed.

Thankfully after a trial separation, romance has once again blossomed for the happy couple. They may have jumped into marriage too soon, but Garth is 100% committed to her man.
