The Good Place Star Jameela Jamil Blasts Amber Rose For Promoting Organic Pregnancy Tea

Publish date: 2024-04-21

The Good Place star Jameela Jamil is blasting Amber Rose for promoting a pregnancy tea on social media.

As the bandwagon of tea detox and weight-loss promotion becomes a hot trend on social media, Jamil continues to battle those celebrities that advertise the product.

The famous faces get paid each time they post the sponsored content, which the actress feels sends the wrong message. Plus, the weight-loss products don’t work and can be extremely harmful.

Rose is the latest celebrity to endure the wrath of the body positive advocate. The 35-year-old is expecting a baby and proudly displayed her bump, next to the “Organic Pregnancy Tea.”

“Food baby or real baby @flattummyco knows bloat’s a total B*TCH!. They’ve just launched an organic pregnancy tea to help us moms with those bloated, nauseous, blah feeling days! It’s safe to take while pregnant and breastfeeding. Check out flattummyco.com for their full line up now!” Rose captioned the picture.

Jamil took a screengrab of the picture and blasted Rose on Twitter.

“PREGNANCY PRODUCTS FOR… PREGNANT WOMEN? Is this FDA approved? Are we… fucking… KIDDING?” slammed the actress, who also tagged the FDA in the hopes of an answer.

She also used Instagram to call out Rose by sharing her Twitter post and writing “No Amber No.”

Not long after Jamil put Rose on notice, her post was flooded with followers disgusted at Wiz Khalifa’s ex-wife for using and promoting such a ridiculous product.

“These celebrities promoting those products have no integrity,” wrote sihamalramahi

“Thank you for calling it out on social media. Awareness is everything. This is disgusting,” replied antoinette_caserta

Fans are not happy with Rose for promoting such a detox tea while she is pregnant. It is bad enough women are advertising them in general, but this is an entirely different level of wrong.

Jameela Jamil made headlines earlier this year for putting Kim and Khloe Kardashian on blast after Koko posted a product promotion on her social media.

Although she is not afraid to call out the celebrities for what she calls unhealthy body image, the activist made it clear she has no ill will toward these people. Jamil is merely making consumers aware of the lies.
